Gapbox is a local leftover-time chest. This policy explains what the app can access on your device and what it does not collect.
Gapbox saves scraps (type, times, notes), optional photos and voice files, Flecks balance, theme entitlements, and an optional Me photo in on-device storage. This information is not uploaded to a Gapbox server.
Gapbox uses the camera to capture the scene of a leftover minute when you take a photo. The picture is stored on this device with that scrap.
Gapbox uses your photo library to attach an existing picture to a leftover minute when you import, to change the Me photo, and to save a share card or atlas image when you save. Limited library access is respected.
Gapbox uses the microphone to record a short voice note for a leftover minute when you hold to speak. The file stays on this device.
After you tap Continue, Gapbox shows the system tracking prompt. Tracking is used to understand whether people come back to keep leftover minutes. You can allow or ask Gapbox not to track. There is no tracking switch in Me, and Gapbox does not send you to system Settings if you decline.
After the tracking prompt, Gapbox may ask for notification permission so it can optionally remind you on this device. You can decline. Gapbox does not require notifications to collect scraps.
Flecks packs are processed by Apple. Gapbox receives a purchase result so it can add Flecks on this device. Appleās own privacy terms apply to App Store payments.
Log Out returns you to the opening chest on this device. Delete Account clears local scraps, Flecks, and entitlements on this device. There is no cloud profile to erase elsewhere.
